Thor: Love and Thunder – Chris Hemsworth thanks ‘world’s best fans’ for the teaser’s success

Chris Hemsworth has been in the limelight recently, after the makers of Thor: Love and Thunder released the first official teaser . The actor has now made a special thank you for the viewers, following the success of the teaser. 

Taking to Twitter to thank the fans, Hemsworth shared a short clip from the teaser, where he is seen training with massive chains. Calling his character the “Strongest Avenger”, which is a running joke in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), the actor also called the fans the “world’s best fans”. 

The actor also shared that the official teaser garnered an impressive 209 million views in just 24 hours of its release. The teaser has also crossed 22 million views on the Marvel Entertainment YouTube channel. 

The teaser, which features ‘Sweet Child O' Mine’ by Guns N' Roses, shows the God of Thunder on a path of change and self-discovery after the events of Avengers: Endgame. The teaser also gives a look at the members of the Guardians of the Galaxy, with whom Thor is now traveling. 

Thor: Love and Thunder is helmed by Taika Waititi, who previously impressed the MCU fans with Thor: Ragnarok. The movie also sees the return of Natalie Portman as Jane Foster after a long hiatus from the franchise. 

The movie also features Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale, Chris Pratt, Jaimie Alexander, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Jeff Goldblum, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooper. 

The 29th movie in the MCU, Thor: Love and Thunder is part of the ambitious Phase Four. 

The movie, which is also the fourth standalone Thor movie, is scheduled to hit theatres on July 8.
