Directed by Dharani with music by Vidyasagar, Ghilli revolves around a kabbadi player who rescues a girl from a local gangster who is obsessed to marry her and kills her family in the process. Ghilli went on to become a successful film and commercial blockbuster even when it re-released in theatres last year. Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana is a Telugu romantic comedy drama featuring Siddharth and Trisha. Directed by Prabhu Deva in his directorial debut, Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana revolves around the love story of a two people who come from different economic conditions and how their families play the opposing forces. The film has music by Devi Sri Prasad, and was remade in nine languages, making it the Indian film which has been remade the most.

Kodi 

Kodi is Tamil political drama released in 2016. Directed by RS Durai Senthilkumar, the film stars Dhanush in dual roles and Trisha, along with Anupama Parameswaran in her Tamil film debut), Saranya Ponvannan, SA Chandrasekhar, and others. In Kodi, Dhanush and Trisha play party cadres and childhood sweethearts who grow to become politically ambitious. Trisha's role Rudra has grey shades in the film, which earned her some appreciation.

Identity 

Identity is a 2025 Malayalam crime action film written and directed by Akhil Paul and Anas Khan. It stars Tovino Thomas, Trisha Krishnan and Vinay Rai in the lead roles. The film revolves around a police officer who works closely to protect the eye witness of a crime, as they get involved with a sketch artiste. It so happens that the eye witness played by Trisha, is suffering from cognitive condition that does not let her remember faces.

96 

96 is a Tamil romantic drama helmed by Prem Kumar in his directorial debut. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha playing childhood sweethearts who get separated after one of them leave the school. Several years later, they meet as adults for their batch reunion, leading them to spend on soulful day together as they reminisce memories. The film also features Gouri G. Kishan, Aadithya Bhaskar, Bagavathi Perumal, Devadarshini, Aadukalam Murugadoss among others. A sequel for the film is expected to be made, with director Prem Kumar stating that the stars will reprise their roles.
