Thunivu trailer Twitter reactions: Fans go gaga over Ajith's grey character, compare with Money Heist's plot

The most-anticipated trailer of Thunivu has been unveiled by makers, leaving fans of Ajith in a tizzy. The 1:51 minute promo video offers a glimpse into the movie's plot. As expected, it is a heist drama which features a group of baddies robbing a bank using hi-tech methods.

How they withstand the onslaught of cops and other officials form the rest of the story. Ajith plays the team head of the robbery gang which includes Manju Warrier and others. Twitterati went berserk after the trailer release, with Tamil movie buffs coming up with various reactions.

According to fans, one of the highlights of the trailer is the grey role their matinee idol has portrayed in it. It's been a while since they have witnessed their favourite star essaying a negative character, and they can't keep calm on social media. They're now looking forward to the movie which is releasing on January 12.
