Tillu Square - The sequel to Siddhu Jonnalagadda's DJ Tillu enters the post-production stage; first half locked

DJ Tillu was a massive hit at the box office and made Siddhu Jonnalgadda an overnight sensation. All eyes are now on the sequel to this film, titled Tillu Square. The comedy caper has been in the making for over a year now and everyone is eagerly waiting for the film's release to see what the crazy star boy has up his sleeve.

Well, we have come to know that the shooting of the film is almost done and the post-production has begun today at Annapurna Studios with the edit of the first half being locked. A few scenes in the film are yet to be canned and the makers are racing against time to release this film on the said date. Mallik Ram is directing this film.

Netflix bags OTT rights of Tillu Square

Just a few days ago, we reported that Netflix had grabbed the OTT rights to Siddhu Jonnalagadda's next two films. The news is also that Netflix has paid a record amount to acquire the rights to Tillu Square. This amount is the highest ever in the career of Siddhu Jonnalagadda and shows what kind of craze Tillu Square has in the industry and outside.

Tillu Square is produced by Naga Vamsi and has Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead. The songs have caught on quite well and the film is all set for a massive release on March 29, 2024, after being postponed multiple times. As it is the much-awaited sequel to Dj Tillu, there is a lot of craze for this film, and the pre-release business is happening at a brisk pace.

Apart from these films, Netflix has also bought the streaming rights to Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram, Vijay Deverakonda's next with Gowtam Tinnanuri, NBK109, Gangs of Godavari and Narne Nithin's upcoming films.
