‘To the butterfly of our lives...’- Gauahar Khan pens a sweet note on her mother-in-law's birthday; shares throwback pics

On Sunday, actress and model Gauahar Khan posted an adorable note on social media for her mother-in-law with a set of throwback pictures that show the close bond she shared with husband Zaid Darbar’s mother. She expressed her love for her biggest cheerleader, her “coolest” mother-in-law.

Gauahar Khan seems to be one of those lucky daughters-in-law who shares a happy bond with her extended family and in-laws. The Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa host is currently basking in the warmth of precious family moments, which reflects in the warm birthday wishes to her loving saas.

Taking to her Instagram, Gauhar penned a short poetic phrase for her "strong and beautiful" mother-in-law. She also expressed her gratitude to her for raising great kids.

“To the woman who is always there for others. To the woman who has strongly brought up great kids. To the coolest mom-in-law, who has been fun and loving too. To the butterfly of our lives, @farzana765 Happy birthday Mom. May Allah bless you with the best of health and happiness,” the Fever actress wrote on Instagram, alongside throwback pictures from various occasions.

In a carousel of pictures, the 40-year-old actress shared pictures from her wedding reception with actor husband Zaid Darbar, alongside mother-in-law Farzana, sister-in-law Anam Darbar, and brother-in-law and dance choreographer Awez Darbar. Other pictures show their strong bond as they pose together during a pilgrimage trip to Mecca; there is also one in which her son Zeehan is in her grandmother’s warm embrace.

For the uninitiated, Farzana is the ex-wife of music director Ismail Darbar and has four social media influencer kids with the Bollywood director: Zaid Darbar, Awez Darbar, Anam Darbar, and Moonzarin Darbar.

Gauahar Khan tied the knot with the elder son of the Darbar family, Zaid Darbar, in December 2020. Despite a visible age gap, their love conquered all. The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Zeehan, in 2023.
