Tourist Family: Sasikumar begins dubbing for his family entertainer with Simran | SEE PICS

We had earlier reported that Sasikumar and Simran will be starring in an upcoming Tamil film titled, Tourist Family. The makers on Saturday, December 14, announced that the dubbing for the has commenced, with the film entering the post-production phase.

Tourist Family update: Sasikumar begins dubbing

Tourist Family is an upcoming Tamil film that will star Sasikumar and Simran. The makers released the teaser of the film recently, which got a positive reception from the audience. It looks like the project has completed shooting, with the dubbing for the film commenced. Actor Sasikumar has begun dubbing for his portions.

Touted to be a family entertainer, the film is written and directed by Abishan Jeevinth in his debut. The teaser revealed that Simran and Sasikumar are playing a couple from Sri Lanka with two children, as they are in a hurry to vacate their home without anyone knowing. However, the plot of the film has not yet been revealed. It marks the first time Sasikumar and Simran are collaborating.

Besides Simran and Sasikumar, the film also stars Yogi Babu, Mithun Jai Sankar, Kamalesh, MS Bhaskar, Ramesh Thilak, Bucks, Elango Kumaravel, and Sreeja Ravi. Tourist Family is backed by Nazerath Pasilian, Magesh Raj Pasilian, and Yuvaraj Ganesan under the banner Million Dollar Studios and MRP Entertainment. A release date for the film is yet to be announced by the makers.

Simran was last seen in the Tamil film Andhagan, which is a remake of the Hindi film Andhadhun. The film is available for streaming on Prime Video. Headlined by actor Prashanth, Simran plays the primary antagonist in the film, which also stars Yogi Babu, Karthik, Urvashi, and others.

Andhagan opened to a positive reception upon its release. The dark comedy film revolves around a blind pianist who witnesses a murder and becomes the prime witness. The film is directed by actor and director Thiagarajan.
