It looks like the survival thriller 2018 is going places. The latest we hear about the film is that the Jude Anthany Joseph directorial has surpassed the 150 crore mark. This is said to be the first Malayalam film to have achieved this landmark feat. It is said that only two Mohanlal films had made it to the list and Tovino Thomas's film has surpassed them.

The Tamil and Telugu versions of the film were released yesterday and both opened to fantastic reviews from the audience. In fact, the film's lead actor Tovino Thomas threw a surprise to his fans by turning up at the First Day First Show of the film at Rohini Silver Screens in Chennai. He was accompanied by Jude Anthany Joseph and senior actor Sudheesh.

The film has collected good numbers on the opening day in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, which is said to be around Rs 90 lakh. Today, the team addressed the press in Hyderabad. Tovino was accompanied by Jude Anthany Joseph and Aparna Balamurali.

The ensemble star cast comprises Kunchacko Boban, Asif Ali, Vineeth Srinivasan, Lal, Narain, Sudheesh, Kalaiyarasan, Aju Varghese, Hari Krishnan, Aparna Balamurali, Tanvi Ram, Sshivada, Gauthami Nair, Siddhique, Renji Panicker, Indrans, Janardhan and Jaffar Idukki to name a few.

Tovino Thomas had earlier told OTTplay, "In Malayalam cinema, we work with a lot of constraints, so we had to rush and finish the movie. If we had had a few more months before release, we could have approached the producers and distributors, and other industries, and released it in a bigger way. But, now the film is getting good word of mouth. We want people from all over India to watch this movie and I hope everyone can relate to it. They're going to like it, and they're going to spread the word."
