Toxic: Kiara Advani's Rs. 15 crore deal for Yash's gangster drama? Here's what we know

Among India's most prolific female actors, Kiara Advani has solidified her place in cinematic history. She has had an impressive career lasting over 10 years, during which she has received widespread praise for her outstanding performances and enjoyed financial success. Getting a sizable pay cheque for her efforts is now a major achievement.

Kiara Advani's salary for Toxic

As per Bollywood Hungama, Kiara, who will co-star with Yash in the highly anticipated pan-world big-budget movie Toxic, reportedly received a salary of Rs. 15 crore. With this achievement, she has cemented her place as one of the industry's most desirable leading ladies. The actor further solidifies her position as a leading lady in Indian cinema by signing this deal, which puts her in the same league as Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

For the next film starring Priyanka opposite Mahesh Babu, directed by SS Rajamouli, the actor is reportedly receiving a remuneration worth Rs. 30 crore. Kalki 2898 AD, which also starred Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan, got Deepika Padukone paid Rs. 20 crore. With Toxic, Kiara solidified her status as one of the highest-paid female actors in the industry.

Among the most bankable female actors in the country, the actor has cemented her position with a streak of consecutive hits across several film sectors. She has become a favourite of both filmmakers and spectators for her ability to balance commercial appeal with captivating performances.

The upcoming gangster flick Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is both written and directed by Geetu Mohandas. Starring Yash and Nayanthara, the film has been shot in both Kannada and English simultaneously. It also features Huma Qureshi, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Darrell D'Silva, and Akshay Oberoi.

Toxic release date postponement

Under their respective production businesses, KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Yash and Venkat K. Narayana are producing it together.

Since this would be Yash's 19th feature picture, the official title was announced a few days after the project's December 2023 announcement, although the working title was Yash 19. Jeremy Stack composed the score for the title announcement, while Rajeev Ravi oversaw cinematography.

Production problems have forced the postponement of Toxic from its original April 10, 2025, theatrical release date.

Meanwhile, with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, she will star in the highly awaited War 2 in addition to Toxic. Kiara consistently demonstrates her adaptability and commanding presence on screen in a variety of genres, including romance, action, drama, and thriller.
