With only 15 days to go, Yash’s most-anticipated Toxic took a backstep from its scheduled release on March 19. The makers had issued a statement sighting the untoward and unstable circumstances in Middle East, Toxic will not have release in March as planned. With this, it is to be noted that there are no biggies lined up down south, if you leave the next prominent ones like Tamil film Youth and Malayalam offering Aadu 3.

Now that only Hindi film Dhurandhar 2 starring Ranveer Singh is slotted for March 19 release for the occasion of Eid, some claim Suriya’s long pending Karuppu can take up the festive weekend. However, the makers of Karuppu have remained silent about the release date. Karuppu has been on the wait for some months now, with fans of Suriay wanting the film to hit big screens soon. Dhurandhar 2, which is also gearing up for release, comes with the weight of being the highest grossing Indian film last year, making Karuppu team a little sceptical.
