Trigger OTT release date: When and where to watch the Atharvaa-starrer action thriller online

Trigger, starring Atharvaa in the lead, was the actor's second release this year. The movie, which marked his second collaboration with director Sam Anton, hit the screens on September 23. The actor-director duo had earlier teamed up for 100 which was released in 2019. 

Produced by Prateek Chakravorty and Shruti Nallappa under the banners of Pramod Films and Miracle Movies, Trigger revolves around the relationship between a son and a father. How a young undercover cop faces a host of challenges while dealing with his unwell father even as he fights with a dreaded kidnapping racket forms the major crux of the story.

The makers have now announced the release date of its digital premiere. The action thriller will drop on aha Tamil on October 14, three weeks after its theatrical release. The OTT platform shared the news on their social media pages. Tanya Ravichandran and Arun Pandian among others essay key roles in the movie.

Atharvaa's first film of 2022, Kuruthi Aattam, too, dropped on aha Tamil after its theatrical release. The movie helmed by Sri Ganesh, too, had its digital premiere before completing a month in theatres.  

Trigger has dialogues penned by PS Mithran and music composed by Ghibran. Krishnan Vasant and Ruben have handled cinematography and editing respectively for the project. Dhilip Subbarayan has choreographed action sequences for the film which has art direction helmed by Rajesh.

Though Trigger opened to decent reviews from critics and the audience upon release, it couldn't set the cash registers ringing. Barnesh's Othaikku Oththa, Karthick Naren's Nirangal Moondru and Raja Mohan's Address are projects Atharvaa currently has in his kitty.
