One of the most-expected character posters from Ponniyin Selvan was Trisha's; the team has now unveiled her look from the magnum opus. She plays the gorgeous Kundavai; her character in the poster has been described as "In a world of men, a woman of courage".
Though Kundavai is seen adorned with jewels, hers is a fierce and bold character, and one of the crucial roles in the novel of the same name written by Kalki Krishnamurthy. Ponniyin Selvan marks Trisha's second collaboration with Mani Ratnam after Aayutha Ezhuthu which was released in 2004.
Among the major stars in the movie, what is left to be unveiled is the character poster of Jayam Ravi which is expected to release tomorrow. The makers are also launching the film's teaser tomorrow at Chennai in different languages. Apart from Tamil, the big budget movie is releasing in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
