Trisha's Brinda, a SonyLIV original web series, went on floors earlier this year. The project which has Surya Vangala at its helm has been touted as a suspense-filled cop drama. A few stills from the series, including the ones which have the actress donning the cop's uniform, did the rounds on social media a few months ago.

Trisha has now taken to her social media pages to announce that the series has been wrapped, and has posted a still of her from the shooting location where a police jeep is spotted.

The actress, who is on a high after the success of Ponniyin Selvan 1, has left her fans elated with the unexpected update. She also revealed that the first season of Brinda is set to drop on SonyLIV soon. The project is the first ever Telugu series from the platform.

It also marks Trisha's return to Tollywood; her last outing in Telugu was the bilingual Cheekati Rajyam, which has her sharing screen space with Kamal Haasan. She recently expressed happiness over the reception towards re-release of her Tollywood debut Varsham which was originally released in 2004.

Her fans, who are eagerly waiting to watch Ponniyin Selvan 2, are looking forward to the release date of Brinda. Another project of hers, The Road, was also completed a few weeks ago. Sathuranga Vettai 2, the long-delayed movie which has her sharing screen space with Arvind Swami, is also expected to hit the screens in 2023.

She also has the Mollywood movie Ram in which she will be seen acting along with Mohanlal. The action entertainer, which has Drishyam fame Jeethu Joseph at the helm, will be released in two installments.
