The Ambani pre-wedding bash that happened over the past week has managed to become the hottest topic of discussion of the month, and there is no way that we are going to stop talking about it anytime soon. While we are still getting over the grandeur of those three nights, new details about the same keep popping up, from the cost of Nita Ambani’s giant emerald necklace to the cost of the entire Anant Ambani – Radhika Merchant pre-wedding festivities. Making news now is Twinkle Khanna, who, in a column, has given a review of the entire event and has hilarious things to say about her husband Akshay Kumar’s performance.
Twinkle Khanna Reviews Ambani Bash
In her Times Of India column, Twinkle Khanna has now spoken about the Ambani pre-wedding festivities and how she saw the entire event unfold from her screen at her home while doing many other things. The writer in her latest column has a sarcastic take on everything that happened in the three nights, from the Three Khans (Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir Khan) performing together, to Rihanna’s performance, to Nita Ambani’s dance performance on the last day, and also Akshay Kumar’s meme-making digging step.
An excerpt from the column written by Twinkle Khanna reads, "In between forcing my little one to swallow her flu medicine, training the dog to pee anywhere but my bed, and checking a deck my company is sending out to advertisers, I continue attending the Ambani festivities in what seems like a paradigm time warp through Instagram. I spot the three Khans performing together and the man of the house singing a robust song."
Twinkle Khanna Trolls Akshay Kumar
Further talking about the performances, she said, "He (Akshay Kumar) then performs a punching dance step that he repeats 33 times with so much force that it feels like he is about to dig another oil well through the stage and into the Jamnagar soil. I see Rihanna’s reportedly somewhere between ₹66 to 74 crore barefoot performance. Her act, though, is not half as grand as Nita bhabhi’s performance of the Vishwambhari Stuti dedicated to Ma Ambe, an avatar of Goddess Durga.”
The Anant Ambani – Radhika Merchant pre-wedding bash was one of its kind as it saw who’s who of not just Bollywood but the entire world walk down on the Jamnagar soil where the festivities took place. The airport there was given a special International status just for 10 days, Rihanna was brought to the country for a performance; Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Ivanka Trump, and many others were also in attendance.
