Udhayanidhi is all praise for Sai Pallavi's Gargi, says it is a must watch film for parents and kids

Debutant Gautham Ramachandran's Gargi, starring Sai Pallavi in the titular role, is one among the three Tamil films that are gearing up for a release this Friday. The movie, which is releasing in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada, hit the headlines a few weeks ago after Suriya's production house 2D Entertainment Pvt Ltd bagged the distribution rights for Tamil Nadu.

The film's trailer which was released recently opened to positive response among critics and movie lovers. Its story revolves around a school teacher who gets the shock of her life after knowing that her father has been arrested. How she fights a legal battle, facing several odds forms the rest of the story.

Actor-distributor-politician Udhayanidhi is now all praise for the movie; he took to his Twitter page to say that Gargi is one of the best films to release this year and that parents and kids shouldn't miss watching it. His tweet read, "#Gargi is easily one of the best movies of the year ! Go watch it on the big screen ! Superb performance by everybody! A must watch for parents and kids (sic)."

His social media post will surely help the movie attain publicity among different film lovers. Udhayanidhi showered praise on Gargi on the 50th day event of his last outing Nenjuku Needhi as well, which was held a day ago.

He said, "Gargi is one of the most beautiful films I have watched in recent times. I got to know that Suriya and Jyotika have acquired distribution rights of the movie. People should support good films like this. It will help directors and producers come up with more content-oriented scripts.

Udhayanidhi was the first person to give his opinion about Kamal Haasan's Vikram on Twitter. The movie went on to become a huge success. It has to be seen if the sentiment will work for Gargi as well.
