Allari Naresh is used to comedy films and has done over 50 films in the same genre. But from his last film Naandhi, he has changed gears and has made sure he attempts serious cinema as well. He has now teamed up with Naandhi director Vijay Kanakamedala once again for an action drama called Ugram.

The film is up for a release on the 5th of this month and Allari Naresh is promoting it aggressively. Speaking in an interview, Naresh says that as he is doing such intense action for the first time, he had to be well prepared and he was tensed as hell during the shoot of the film. Naresh reveals that he ended up smoking 500 cigarettes for a fight sequence which was canned for over four days.
