Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan shared a promo video about his upcoming production on social media. The Jai Ganesh star will be playing the lead in the forthcoming film directed by Joshiy, a well-known hitmaker in Malayalam.

The announcement of the film was made on the occasion of Joshiy's birthday today (July 17). It has been revealed that the untitled project is a big-budget action thriller, which will be rolling soon. More updates on the movie and its cast as well as crew are expected in the coming days.
Joshiy is known for his films which were box office hits as well as have high repeat value. His recent films were Joju George-starrer Antony and Suresh Gopi's Paappan. While Antony can be watched on Amazon Prime Video, Paappan is streaming on ZEE5 as well as OTTplay Premium. The director's son also made his debut recently with Dulquer Salmaan's King of Kotha, which is available on both JioHotstar and OTTplay Premium.

With last year's Marco, the actor gained widespread praise. The violent action thriller is now available in several languages on OTTplay Premium and Sony LIV. In the meantime, the actor made an abrupt announcement that the highly anticipated movie's sequel had been cancelled, which shocked both his fans and action film enthusiasts. This claim was recently refuted by Shareef Muhammed of Cubes Entertainments, the film's producer. However, he has not revealed the commencement date of the Marco sequel or if Unni Mukundan will appear in it.
In Get-Set Baby, which also featured Nikhila Vimal, Surabhi Lakshmi, and Sudheesh, Unni played the lead role. The film has not yet been released on OTT. In this family entertainer, he portrayed Dr. Arjun Balakrishnan, an IVF specialist whose goal is to become one of the most well-known specialists. The remainder of the movie centres on how his ego causes him to have a difficult time in every aspect of his life.
