In the wake of one of the strongest protests in France, social media has been abuzz with trending topics, ranging from "France has fallen" to "Send back V to South Korea." The nation has been grappling with a wave of unrest following the tragic incident that unfolded during a traffic stop in the Paris district of Nanterre on Tuesday morning (June 27). The fatal shooting of 17-year-old Nahel has reignited long-standing grievances surrounding policing, racial profiling, and social inequalities in France's low-income and multiethnic suburbs.

Eyewitness accounts and security camera footage have contradicted the official narrative, further fueling public outrage and giving rise to widespread protests. Videos capturing Nahel's encounter with law enforcement have added to the mounting unrest.

Meanwhile, the latest concern among BTS fans, known as ARMY, centres around the group's second youngest member, Kim Taehyung, also known as V. On June 30, he was spotted at Incheon International Airport, departing for Paris, France. It was reported that he had travelled to attend the CELINE Homme Summer 24 Show scheduled for Sunday, July 2.

Given the turmoil gripping France, ARMY has been urging the management company Hybe and BigHit Entertainment to prioritize the safety of the vocalist and bring him back to South Korea. Worried fans have expressed their concerns, highlighting the volatile situation in France and the need for V's well-being.

Earlier, V at the airport, before departing for France, was captured by cameras and fans who loved him for his politeness. He lowered his head and greeted the reporters and fans who were there to see him off.
