Unstoppable with NBK, the talk show hosted by Nandamuri Balakrishna, was a trendsetter in the Telugu digital space. At a time when leading stars expressed reluctance on taking up OTT projects owing to the slow evolution of the digital medium, the Akhanda star took the plunge and proved all odds wrong. After two successful seasons, the hit show is returning for a third season.
Leading streaming platform aha confirmed the news about the latest season on Saturday. “Yessss! You guessed it right. The BAAP OF ALL TALK SHOWS return to entertain you all…Unstoppable with NBK, Limited Edition Coming Soon,” aha tweeted, sharing a few glimpses of the BTS footage with dialogues from both seasons. Given the ‘limited edition’ label, season 3 may have fewer episodes.
The biggest names in the Telugu film industry, from Mahesh Babu to Pawan Kalyan to Mohan Babu, Nani, Prabhas, Gopichand, Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, younger actors like Sharwanand, Vishwak Sen and Siddu Jonnalagadda, several stars have graced the show in both the seasons. Politicians like Kiran Kumar Reddy, Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh also featured in the show.
Produced by SOL, the show is supervised by writer BVS Ravi with Balakrishna’s daughter Tejaswini taking an active part in its curation. There are reports that team aha is making an effort to rope in Chiranjeevi for one of the episodes for the new season. However, nothing about it is official yet. The shoot of the third season is expected to commence soon, most likely after Bhagavanth Kesari’s release.
Balakrishna, who was seen in Veera Simha Reddy this Sankranthi, will be seen in another festive release - Bhagavanth Kesari on October 19. Kajal Aggarwal, Sreeleela , Arjun Rampal, Sarath Kumar essay crucial roles in the action entertainer directed by Anil Ravipudi. Shine Screens produces the film and S Thaman is the composer. Two songs from the film are out already.
