Upendra-Sudeep starrer Kabzaa tops IMDb's 'most anticipated Indian movie' list, producer overjoyed

Kabzaa producer Alankar Pandian is overjoyed about the kind of buzz that the movie is creating across India . Starring Upendra and Sudeep, the film is one of the most expensive films made in the Kannada film industry. With just a few days to the big release, the film seems to be gaining favour with the movie-going audience. 

Alankar Pandian has claimed that Kabzaa has topped the IMDb's 'most anticipated Indian movie' and he considers it as a sign of the growing allure of the movie. Kabzaa is written and directed by R Chandru. The movie is marketed as the "next big film" from the Kannada film industry after the KGF series. Mounted on a huge scale, the film also stars Shriya Saran as the female lead. 

On Thursday, the main cast and crew of the movie took part in several promotional activities to create awareness about Kabzaa in the Hindi-speaking belt. In the last few years, the north Indian states have emerged as a very lucrative market for south Indian movies. And the producers of Kabzaa are also hoping the ride the wave of the popularity of south movies in the Hindi belt. 

Sudeep is a known face among the Hindi film audience , thanks to the film Dabangg 3. And he has also thrown his weight behind the film's promotions. 

Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar also played a key cameo in the movie. The film is due in cinemas on March 17.
