Tamil Nadu-based popular entrepreneur Saravanan surprised one and all when he announced his decision to make his acting debut as a hero. The actress plays a microbiologist in the film which features a bevy of actors like Yogi Babu, Vivek, Mayilsamy, Nasser, Suman and Thambi Ramaiah among others essaying key roles in it. Urvashi was recently in the news when she was present at the Cannes Film Festival.
She said, "I'm happy to attend my first film event in Chennai. I have always had great respect for Tamil cinema, its directors and writers. I consider myself incredibly blessed for making my debut finally in Kollywood. The Legend has shaped as a proper pan Indian film, too."
She added, "There are three reasons why I love Chennai; Rajinikanth sir, Chennai Super Kings and Dhoni, and Saravanan sir, my hero in the film." Urvashi had expressed her admiration towards Rajinikanth earlier, too. She had posted a few pictures of her posing for photos with the Superstar from an event a few years ago.
Last year, the actress had shared a video of Latha Rajinikanth, the star's wife, sending her wishes to the former while she was shooting for The Legend. Fans of Rajini had lapped up the video which went viral in no time.
