Ustaad Bhagat Singh is one of the prominent south films to hit theatres this weekend. The film features Pawan Kalyan in the lead role, as the Telugu film’s advance bookings are now open. Ustaad Bhagat Singh will cash in on the Eid/Ugadi weekend. But before you catch the film, here is everything you need to know.

Ustaad Bhagat Singh is an upcoming Telugu film starring actor-politician Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. The film is slated for a theatrical release on March 19, as it clashes with other language films, including Hindi’s Dhurandhar 2, Tamil entertainer Youth, and Telugu actioner Ustaad Bhagat Singh, and Malayalam fantasy comedy Aadu 3. Ustaad Bhagat Singh will be capitalising the Eid and Ugadi weekend in the Telugu speaking states.
The trailer of Ustaad Bhagat Singh is out on YouTube. It shows Pawan Kalyan as a fierce and straight-forward police officer Bhagat Singh. With the typical Telugu cinema sensibilities, the trailer of the movie has dance, comedy, action and even emotions.
Ustaad Bhagat Singh is about a tribal boy who is named Bhagat Singh by his teacher as he grows up to become a man of valour and strong morals. Now a cop, Bhagat Singh stands against the injustice as he courageously takes down evil forces.
The cast of Ustaad Bhagat Singh is led by Pawan Kalyan who plays the titular role. Actors Sreeleela, Raashii Khanna, Parthiban and others are also part of the cast. Written and directed by Harish Shankar, the music is scored by Devi Sri Prasad, with Thaman S working on the background score. The screenplay is penned by K Dasharath and Ramesh Reddy. The film is shot by cinematographer by Ayananka Bose and edited by Karthika Srinivas.
Ustaad Bhagat Singh’s OTT partner has been locked as Netflix, which has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights of the Pawan Kalyan film for a whopping price. Netflix is expected to stream Ustaad Bhagat Singh sometime towards end of April, in multiple languages.
Ustaad Bhagat Singh has been censored U/A by the Censor Board, and has a runtime of 2 hours and 34 minutes.
