Ustaad Bhagat Singh OTT release: Where to stream Pawan Kalyan’s cop action drama online

Ustaad Bhagat Singh is an upcoming Telugu film starring actor and politician Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. The cop action drama is gearing up for release in theatres this week. Meanwhile, the post-theatrical streaming rights of Ustaad Bhagat Singh have been bagged by Netflix, which will premiere the film after the big screen run.

Ustaad Bhagat Singh OTT release: Where to stream after theatrical run?

In this week’s theatrical releases, one of the prominent south releases is the Pawan Kalyan-starrer Ustaad Bhagat Singh. The cop action drama had been in the making for a while, before the makers locked the release date as March 19, for the occasion of Eid. Ustaad Bhagat Singh’s digital streaming rights have already been sold to giant platform Netflix. While an official release date will be announced later, Netflix is expected to stream Ustaad Bhagat Singh in multiple languages sometime in April.

Written and directed by filmmaker Harish Shankar, Ustaad Bhagat Singh trailer was recently released which reveals that Pawan Kalyan will be playing the titular role, a fierce, straight-forward cop who is against the anti-social elements. Packaged as a commercial potboiler, Ustaad Bhagat Singh features two female leads; Raashii Khanna and Sreeleela. Actors R Parthiban, Ashutosh Rana, Nawab Shah, BS Avinash, Gautami, Chammak Chandra and others form the cast.

Is Ustaad Bhagat Singh remake of Theri?

Although speculations suggested that Ustaad Bhagat Singh is a remake of Tamil film Theri starring Vijay, director Harish Shankar had denied the allegations. The trailer also does not feature any similarities with the Tamil film which is directed by Atlee.

Ustaad Bhagat Singh will be taking on the Hindi biggie Dhurandhar 2, starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar. While the Telugu speaking states will allot screens for the regional film, Dhurandhar 2 also has high chances for grabbing screens, owing to the first part’s success.
