Given Vetrimaaran is also on the list, one can expect that it will be the immediate next with Suriya’s Vaadivaasal once again put on the back burner. The film is with V Creations and centres around the traditional bull-taming sport of Jallikattu. In addition, Gautham Menon’s Dhruva Natchathiram featuring Vikram might also take longer to see the light of day.

Meanwhile, Malayalam director Jude Anthany is expected to make a Tamil film with this new announcement, as Por Thozhil fame Vignesh Raja and Dada director Ganesh K Babu are also gearing up for their next directorial. Further announcements on the projects and release dates are expected to be announced at a later stage.
