The team of Vaashi, starring Tovino Thomas and Keerthy Suresh in lead roles, had unveiled its first single, Yaathonnum Parayathe, recently. Now, they have come up with the film's teaser. The one-and-a-half minute video provides a glimpse into the movie's plot. The lead actors essay Ebin Mathew and Madhavi Mohan, leading lawyers who are in love with each other.

But fate had different plans for them. They lock horns with each other after taking up a sensational case. The courtroom drama revolves around the legal argument between their characters; how it affects their relationship forms the rest of the story.

Vishnu G Raghav has directed the movie which has been bankrolled by G Suresh Kumar of Revathy Kalamandirr. Neil DCunha has handled cinematography for the project which has editing by Arju Benn, songs by Kailas and background score by Yakson and Neha.

Vinayak Sasikumar has penned lyrics for the songs for the project which will be presented by Urvasi Theatres in Kerala. Malayalam cinema has been witnessing many courtroom dramas in recent times, and Vaashi is the latest to join the list.

The movie brings together Tovino and Keerthy for the first time; the film features Kottayam Ramesh and Maya Menon, too, in pivotal characters. Keerthy's last outing in Mollywood was Priyadarshan's big-budget flick Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham (streaming on Amazon Prime Video) which was released a few months ago.

Tovino was last seen in Ashiq Abu's Naradan (streaming on Amazon Prime Video) which released earlier this year. The actor's next release is likely to be Thallumala while Keerthy has Maamannan in Tamil and two projects in Telugu which are expected to hit the screens soon.
