Vaathi: Here's when the audio launch event of the bilingual Dhanush-starrer will be held in Chennai

Fans of Dhanush, who have been awaiting an update on Vaathi, has a news to rejoice. The audio launch of the movie, which will be released in Tamil and Telugu, has been slated to happen in a college in Chennai. Sithara Entertainments, which is producing the project, has announced the same.

They have also updated that the much-awaited event will happen on February 4. Fans of Dhanush have started expressing their excitement on social media and are looking forward to the star's speech. The cast and crew members of the film are expected to attend the event.

GV Prakash has composed music for Vaathi which will be released as Sir in Telugu. Samyuktha Menon has played the female lead in the movie which has cinematography and editing handled by Yuvaraj and Naveen Nooli respectively. Venky Atluri has helmed the film which will hit the screens on February 17.

The project will be Dhanush's first outing in 2023; it was supposed to be released in December 2022, but makers decided to postpone their plans owing to reasons best known to them.

Dhanush, who has had four releases in 2022, is currently busy shooting for Captain Miller which is billed as the biggest film of his career. The Arun Matheswaran directorial is an adventure action drama which is set in the 1930s.

Meanwhile, Dhanush is set to don the director's hat again. An official announcement on the film which has him wielding the megaphone is likely to happen soon. Vishnu Vishal, SJ Suryah and Kalidas are said to be playing key roles in it.
