The whodunit series, Vadhandhi, which was dropped on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, has opened to decent reports. The eight-episode drama stars SJ Suryah in the lead, while Laila, Sanjana and Vivek Prasanna are seen essaying key characters in it.

The four of them have now featured in a unique promo of the series in which they request the audience not to reveal its spoilers in an innovative manner. It begins with the four of them sitting in a room. A surprised Laila asks others about the purpose of having assembled, and Sanjana says that they have come together to promote the series.

Suryah then wonders why they are sitting in the room instead of going to the spot where the sensational murder happened. The four of them are then seen in a beautiful place in rural Kanyakumari. But Vivek expresses his disagreement on the new place as he feels the pleasant ambience there doesn't suit the genre of the series.

They suddenly shift to a small restaurant and Vivek gorges on a plate of bonda and tea, a smart reference to his character of a food lover in the series. Suryah takes a dig at his obsession for his favorite food combination, but Vivek confesses that he isn't able to control his mouth.

Suryah nods his head and says that wagging tongues has been the biggest headache he faced while solving the murder of Velonie (Sanjana). "Her life was a mystery when she was alive; her death became a bigger riddle," he noted.

A curious Sanjana asks Suryah if her killer has been nabbed. Vivek gets up to say something, but Suryah interferes and requests him not to reveal anything. He further urges the audience not to lend ears to what others say, and also to start watching Vadhandhi on Amazon Prime.
