Makers of the Tamil upcoming movie recently shared a glimpse of Thala to pique fans’ anticipation
Thala Ajith’s much-anticipated action-thriller Valimai has recently wrapped up its shoot. Post-production of the movie is currently going in a full swing. Amidst all this, reports are surfacing in the air that the movie is said to have drawn heavy inspiration from the historical event of World War 2.
An ETimes report suggests that Valimai will feature a gang of people who were Nazis in the troops of Hitler during World War 2. They started a bike club during the late ’60s in England and started calling themselves ‘Satanin adimaigal naangal’ (roughly translating to Satan’s Slaves). This bike club supposedly was dismantled by the law but few from the club continue to function illegally. Its members are shown in the film to be involved with criminal activities like theft, smuggling of illegal weapons, drugs and several other immoral activities.
If you haven't watched the Glimpse of Valimai, you can catch it here:
As we all heard previously, Valimai is touted to centre around the organised crime of illegal bike racing. The glimpse of the Thala starrer which came out recently featured the character of a bike racer who uttered the line, “Satan’s slaves we are” in the video. The line has a strong connection reportedly with the second world war, as mentioned previously.
H Vinoth, who helmed the upcoming action-thriller of Thala insisted on shooting a major bike sequence overseas since he had formed a structure in the movie based on the ‘Satan’s slaves’ bike club.
Thala Ajith’s Valimai is touted to have its theatrical release on Pongal, next year. Meanwhile, let's satiate our anticipation by binging on the teasers of the movie.
