Vijay fans have been awaiting an update on Nelson Dilipkumar's Beast for quite some time. Whenever Sun Pictures, the production house which bankrolls the project, comes up with a post on their social media handle, fans of the star get excited hoping that it is an update about the project.
With the production house posting back-to-back updates on Annaatthe these days, Vijay fans are looking forward to a surprise on Deepavali as the Rajinikanth-starrer is finally releasing on the festival day. Meanwhile, a video clip from Vamshi Paidipally's interview to a Telugu channel has gone viral, in which the director has revealed a few information about the star's next, tentatively title Thalapathy 66.
He said that Vijay is a good observer and that the star is someone who believes in sharing a similar wavelength with people with whom he works. Vamshi said, "I gave a one-and-a-half hour story narration to him, after which he said 'we are doing this film'. It is not a film based on politics. Like my previous movies, this project, too, will deal with human emotions. I have also kept his stardom in mind while writing the script. The audience in Tamil have certain expectations from his movie and I'm aware of that. We are yet to decide on the female lead for the film. I think we will come up with a few announcements soon."
Fans of Vijay now hope that an update on either Thalapathy 66 or Beast will be announced on Deepavali. There hasn't been any major update on the latter after its first look and second look were released on the star's birthday in June.
