Varisu: A special show of the Thalapathy Vijay-starrer screened for THIS leading Tollywood star?

As Vijay fans are eagerly awaiting the trailer of Varisu which will be unveiled today evening, they have one more reason to get excited. It is heard that a leading Telugu star has caught a special screening of the movie directed by Vamshi Paidipally. We hear that it is Ram Charan who has watched the family drama at musician Thaman's studio in Chennai.

Apparently, the RRR star was in the capital city of Tamil Nadu to meet Thaman and producer Dil Raju who are also part of the actor's forthcoming flick RC 15 (tentative title) which has Shankar at its helm. 

Raju organized a screening for Charan, and according to sources, the latter was impressed with the film. There are unconfirmed reports that the actor has also made a call to Vijay to congratulate him in advance. Charan has previously worked with both Thaman and Raju. He had teamed up with Vamshi, too, in Yevadu.

Varisu's Telugu dubbed version, Vaarasudu, will be locking horns with Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy at Tollywood box office. Many prominent theatres in Telugu states have been hired by Raju in advance, leaving fans of the senior Telugu stars slightly dejected.  

However, it has to be seen how much Vaarasudu can attract audiences in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, considering Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna are competing with each other after six years. The two Tollywood movies have managed to garner more or less same hype.

Meanwhile, the remaining portions of RC 15 are expected to begin after Shankar completes Indian 2 with Kamal Haasan. The long-pending project restarted again recently after Udhayanidhi intervened and sorted out issues between Shankar and Lyca Productions.
