Varshangalkku Sheham – Aju Varghese’s first poster from the Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial is out

Varshangalkku Shesham, the highly anticipated movie which marks Vineeth Sreenivasan’s eighth outing as a filmmaker, is now nearing the final stages of its production. The highly anticipated movie, which is touted to be a complete entertainer, features Pranav Mohanlal and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead roles, is reportedly slated to release in April 2024 as a Vishu special release. Meanwhile, the makers of the Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial released the first look poster of Aju Varghese from the movie, today (January 11, 2024).

Varshangalkku Shesham team wishes Aju Varghese on his birthday

The cast and crew members of Varshangalkku Shesham wished popular actor Aju Varghese, who is set to play a key role in the movie, to reveal his first look poster on social media. In the promising poster, the popular actor is seen in a different look, with a salt n pepper hairdo, and a bulgan beard. With his get-up, Aju reminded us of many popular characters from the Malayalam films of the 1980s and 90s, who used to dress up similarly. From the poster, it is evident that the actor's role in the Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial is going to be very different from the roles he played so far.

“@ajuvarghese Happy Birthday Aliyaa!!” wrote director Vineeth Sreenivasan, who shared the popular actor’s first look poster on his Instagram story. “Thank you ♥️ @vineeth84 @visakhsubramaniam @cinemasmerryland,” wrote Aju Varghese, who shared his first look poster, on his official handle. As per the reports, the actor plays a pivotal character, which has shades of comedy, in the highly anticipated project.

As per the reports, the highly anticipated movie which is set in the backdrop of Madras city of the 1980s, features Pranav Mohanlal in the lead role. Dhyan Sreenivasan is appearing in a key role. Kalyani Priyadarshan appears as the female lead opposite Pranav in the movie, which stars popular actor Nivin Pauly in an extended cameo appearance. 

From the first look poster featuring Pranav and Dhyan, which gave major 'Dasan-Vijayan'vibes it is evident that the makers are planning to present a fun-filled entertainer. Earlier, it was speculated that the film is based on superstar Mohanlal and veteran actor-writer Sreenivasan's early life in Chennai. However, the makers of Varshangalkku Shesham refuted the rumours, and suggested that the movie is based on a different subject.

The movie features a stellar star cast including Aju Varghese, Basil Joseph, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Neeraj Madhav, Neeta Pillai, Arjun Lal, Nikhil Nair, Shaan Rahman, and others in the key roles. Recently, director Vineeth Sreenivasan has officially revealed that the team is set to introduce young talent Amrit Ramnath as the music composer of the movie. The highly anticipated project is bankrolled by Visakh Subramaniam, under the prestigious manner Merryland Cinemas.
