During a chat with OTTplay, Harikrishnan, who featured in the recently released Varshangalkku Shesham, stated that nearly all actors face difficulties at some point in their careers. Harikrishnan further said that for the most part, actors need to get over their shyness and ask filmmakers for opportunities.
"I consider myself to be an introvert, but on occasions, I have approached people to ask for opportunities. I do not feel comfortable asking for a chance right now because there have been rejections," he said. Hari said that during the course of his 14 years, starting with his 2010 debut at Malarvadi Arts Club, his career graph remained largely unchanged.
He claimed that he entered the film business out of passion and that ever since his approach has been to be a part of good movies rather than concentrating on giving a large number of films annually or specialising in lead parts. "I think I still have more to do in this industry," he continued.
Hari mentioned that everybody, except Geevarghese, is a part of Varshangalkku Shesham, directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan. "Vineeth called and asked if I would like to be in his next movie. We had a great time at the Munnar location where we shot," he remarked. The actor compared the filming to a get-together among friends.
The Abraham Ozler star stated that he finds it difficult to watch films on online platforms. "Seeing films in a theatre provides me with a distinct feeling of fulfillment. But the medium has given actors and filmmakers a wide range of options, and it has also given viewers a variety of options," he continued.

According to Harikrishnan, he has not committed to any projects yet. But he is looking forward to filming Aadu 3. "Being a part of Aadu 3 feels like returning to a different group of friends, with whom I feel very at ease," he remarked.
