Varun Dhawan posted a poster for the 12th Fail on his Instagram story. The Jugg Jugg Jeeyo actor wrote, “This film has to be one of the most beautiful films I have seen in a long long time thank you for this. @medhashankar @vidhuvinodchoprafilms @vikrantmassey Kya baat hai yaar” accompanied by a clap emoji.
Vikrant re-shared it on his Instagram stories and wrote, “Ab toh Hero No.1 ne bhi bol dya!!! Thanks a ton VD. Much much love brother.” He added a heart and hug emoji.
Earlier, Vicky Kaushal also took to his social media account to review 12th Fail. He called the film ‘Best Film of the Year’. He wrote: “Speechless! Bohat roya par dil khush ho gya. Talking about Virkant, the actor wrote: "jald hi milkar gale lagna hai. Such an inspiring performance."

Vikrant Massry starrer became the highest-rated Indian film on IMDb, which is a major accomplishment for the film. The biographical drama has taken the top spot on IMDb's list of the best 250 Indian films, earning an impressive 9.2 out of 10.
