Varun Dhawan was recently bonding with her Sunny Sanskaari Ki Tulsi Kumar co-star Sanya Malhotra. The duo were seen having a chill time over a cup of tea. The film which also stars Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role has been the talk of the town since its announcement. Now, Varun shared a picture on his social media and that's how we know that he is on the set of the film with Sanya.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Varun posted a picture of a tea mug in his hand while we could see the camera set up in the background. In the post, he thanked Sanya for the 'chai patti' which the actress shared on her stories as well. Take a look at it below:
Over a month ago, Varun and Janhvi shared a video that had glimpses of the pooja ceremony that took place marking the beginning of shooting for Sunny Sankaari Ki Tulsi Kumari. In the video, we can see the entire cast including Janhvi, Varun Dhawan, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Suresh Saraf, Akshay Oberoi, and Maniesh Paul, all looking gorgeous in traditional attire. The pooja was also attended by the film's producer and director, Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan, respectively.

It was earlier reported by Pinkvilla that the film will be a pure family entertainer with romance in its backdrop. "The premise of SSKTK is very close to the kind of films that Dharma is known for, as it celebrates love with color, music, scale, and a strong star cast. Joining Varun and Janhvi are Sanya and Rohit,” the source said.
Written and directed by Shashank Khaitan, Sunny Sanskari & Tulsi Kumari is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan himself. The film is slated to hit the big screens on April 18, 2025.
