Telugu actor Varun Sandesh’s upcoming film is titled Nindha. The makers of the film took to their social media pages on April 18 to unveil the first-look poster and title. Touted to be a mystery thriller, the film is said to be based on real-life events.

The new poster showcases the statue of Lady Justice in a dark, eerie setting. Behind the statue, there is a silhouette of a man with a weapon. Overall, the poster hints the film being a mystery thriller. Interestingly, under the title a tagline read, ‘A Kandrakota Mystery’.  

The official update's post was captioned, “In a blame-filled world, innocence hangs by a thread. Get ready for a wild ride through twists of truth and deceit.” Nindha, is reportedly inspired by true events, and promises to be a murder mystery that will also feature legal drama.

For the unversed, in February 2024, villagers in the region of Kandrakota in Andhra Pradesh, reportedly heard strange nocturnal sounds. Some also said that the village has a history of mysterious events. Now it is said that the upcoming movie is inspired by the true happenings of the eerie incident that took place.

Nindha cast and crew

Nindha is written, directed and produced by Rajesh Jagannadham. The film’s supporting cast includes actors such as Tanikella Bharani, Chatrapathi Sekhar, Surya Kumar and Siddharth Gollapudi. Ramiz Vaneeth is the cinematographer for the film, while editing is by Anil Kumar P Santhu Omkar has been signed to compose music. 

Varun Sandesh’s other projects

Besides Nindha, Varun Sandesh, who made his Telugu debut with Happy Days, went on to star in several popular films such as Kotha Bangaru Lokam, Yemaindi Ee Vela and Mama Manchu Alludu Kanchu. The actor made his comeback with a crucial role in Nuvvu Thopu Raa. He later featured in Induvadana, Michael and Organic Mama Hybrid Alludu. He will be seen next in the crime comedy Chitram Choodara, which is directed by RN Harshavardhan. The actor is said to play a Pawan Kalyan fan in the action drama.
