After a lull in the Kollywood box office due to Sunday lockdowns and restrictions on night shows imposed as a result of COVID-19 cases, Tamil film industry will be witnessing back-to-back releases of much-awaited movies, starting from this Friday. Vishal's Veeramae Vaagai Soodum is hitting the screens on February 4.

The action thriller directed by Thu Pa Saravanan was earlier slated as a January 26 release. The makers had earlier released the trailer of the film which will be released as Saamanyudu and Obba, too, in Telugu and Kannada respectively. 

They have now come up with a sneak peek which has offered a glimpse into a crucial action scene. The two-minute video has Vishal entering a liquor shop in search of someone called Maari. Clad in a a denim blue shirt and dark blue jeans, he is seen enquiring about Maari to the cook there. 

He points his fingers at a random person after which Vishal goes to him and asks if he is Maari for real. However, the person points his fingers at another person. After this keeps repeating for a while, an annoyed Vishal warns the real Maari to come forward without which he threatens to take on every 16 people at the liquor shop.  

Upon hearing this, the furious goons there start attacking Vishal with knives and other weapons hidden under the tables. Needless to say, Vishal flexes his muscles and starts beating everyone black and blue. The video gets abruptly cut, thus piquing the curiousity of movie buffs.  

The film has Dimple Hayathi playing female lead while Yogi Babu, Baburaj, Marimuthu and Raveen Ravi among others will be seen essaying key roles in it. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed music for the film which has cinematography by Kavin Raj and action scenes choreographed by Anl Arasu, Ravi Varma and Dinesh.
