The makers of Vishal-starrer Veeramae Vaagai Soodum have released its trailer sometime ago through the Twitter handles of Khushbu, Arya, Karthi, Lokesh Kanagaraj and Keerthy Suresh among others. The trailer of Saamanyudu and Obba, the film's Telugu and Kannada versions respectively, were also unveiled.

As expected, the two and a half minute video has Vishal in an action-packed avatar, which is complemented by slick cuts by editor NB Srikanth. Kavin Raj's cinematography and Yuvan Shankar Raja's music, too, have helped the racy trailer stand out. The star plays a common man in the movie who sets out to take revenge against a big shot when he realizes that fighting back is the only option to save himself.

Dimple Hayathi plays the female lead in the movie which has Yogibabu, Kumaravel, Raveena Ravi, Marimuthu and RNR Manohar essaying crucial characters. Mollywood actor Baburaj, who was last seen in Vikram's Sketch in Tamil, will be seen as the antagonist in this realistic action flick.

Thu Pa Saravanan has helmed the project which has been bankrolled by Vishal himself under his home banner Vishal Film Factory. Anl Arasu, Ravi Varma and Dinesh have choreographed action scenes for the film which has dialogues by Pon Parthiban.

Though the movie was announced as a theatrical release on January 26, looks like the makers might think of a new date, considering the current restrictions with regard to night shows and lockdown on Sundays.

Interestingly, the trailer of Veeramae Vaagai Soodum didn't mention the release date. Instead, it had the generic 'coming soon' attached to it, which hints at a change in the movie's postponement. An official announcement from the actor is awaited, though. Earlier this month, there were speculations on the film hitting the screens for Pongal festival.
