Venkat Prabhu announces Mad Company; the Tamil web series starring Prasanna is dropping on THIS platform

It looks like aha Tamil is on a roll with back-to-back original content. After announcing a unique game show, titled Sarkaar With Jiiva to be headlined by Jiiva, they are set to release a new web series. Filmmaker Venkat Prabhu has announced Mad Company, starring Prasanna in the lead. 

Kaniha and Dhanya Balakrishna among others essay pivotal roles in the project which has been directed by Vignesh Vijayakumar. The makers have also unveiled a vibrant poster of the series which features its principle cast. The poster comes with the tag 'Relationships for rent'.

Bharath Sankar has composed music for the project which has cinematography by Shiva GRN and editing by Julian. Sreeraman E has helmed art direction for the series while Dhanya, who will be seen in a key role, is also a member of its creative production team.

Raja Ramamurthy has produced Mad Company and filmmaker Balaji Mohan is on board as its creative producer; show director Vignesh is his erstwhile assistant. Billed as an urban feel-good drama, the project was launched earlier this year and makers had released a few working stills.     

This is the second time Balaji Mohan and Dhanya Balakrishna are teaming up after As I'm Suffering From Kadhal which was dropped on Disney+ Hotstar in 2017. It was one of the first popular web series in Tamil before OTT projects became a fad. 

Mad Company is the fourth OTT project for actor Prasanna. He was first seen in the web series Thiravam which was dropped on Zee5 in 2019, followed by Addham which had a direct release on aha. Project Agni, a segment of Netflix's Navarasa, was the previous OTT project Prasanna was part of.
