Vicky Kaushal and his rise in 2023

In 2023, the renowned actor Vicky Kaushal shared the screen with actress Sara Ali Khan in the romantic comedy "Zara Hatke Zara Bachke," depicting the challenges faced by a small-town couple striving for privacy. The film not only gained critical acclaim but also achieved significant commercial success, crossing the Rs 100 crore mark globally.

Later in the same year, Kaushal took on the titular role in the family film "The Great Indian Family" (2023). Despite a mediocre reception from critics for the film, Kaushal's performance was lauded for adding depth to the narrative. In December, he portrayed India's first field marshal, Sam Manekshaw, in the biopic 'Sam Bahadur,' which also crossed the Rs 100 crore milestone at the global box office. Towards the end of the year, Kaushal made a special appearance in the comedy-drama 'Dunki,' featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles.

Looking ahead to 2024, Vicky Kaushal is set to star in filmmaker Anand Tiwari's romantic comedy 'Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam,' alongside Triptii Dimri, promising another cinematic treat for the audience.
