If the buzz on social media is to be believed, the shoot for Ajith's upcoming film, Vidaamuyarchi is all set to begin later this month. The film, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, is bankrolled by Lyca Productions. Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music.

Shoot to begin Abu Dhabi
It looks like the team is in the final stages of their location recce and that the shoot will kick-start later this month in Abu Dhabi. While speculations are rife that Trisha will play the leading lady in the film, Arjun Das and Sanjay Dutt's names are also doing the rounds. The film is said to be heavy on action and if all goes as planned, the film will hit screens for summer next year.

When Lyca announced Vidaamuyarchi
Ajith's last film was H Vinoth's action entertainer Thunivu, which hit screens for Pongal this year. Ajith was supposed to begin work on his next with Vignesh Shivan thereafter, but the director got dropped out of the project after the final script didn't convince the makers. Later, Lyca Productions confirmed on Ajith's birthday (May 1) that he was teaming up with Magizh Thirumeni for his next. Magizh had shared his excitement, "Thank you #AjithKumar Sir for this greatest opportunity to work with you for the prestigious #VidaaMuyarchi May 22 Game start (sic)."

Lyca, too, posted on his social media handle. "Wishing the man of Persistence, Passion and Hard work Our dearest #AjithKumar sir a Happy B'day It’s time for Celebration now...! Our next film with Mr. #AK is titled #VidaaMuyarchi "EFFORTS NEVER FAIL" and will be directed by the cult film-maker #MagizhThirumeni (sic)." The tweet put an end to the speculations.

Ajith takes a break from films
In March, Ajith's father PS Mani had passed away after which the actor took a break from films and resumed his world bike tour, which is called RIDE for Mutual Respect. Looks like Ajith is now back in action after strutting around the world on his mean machine.
