Vijay Antony indulges in THIS kind-hearted gesture after Pichaikkaran 2 garners decent response

Vijay Antony's bilingual flick Pichaikkaran 2, which was released in Telugu as Bichagadu 2, opened to okayish response from critics and the audience when it hit screens a week ago. Interestingly, the Telugu version raked in more profit and opened to comparatively better reports.

The movie grossed more than eight crores on its first day from two languages. Bichagadu, too, earned more profits from Telugu states when compared to Tamil box office collections during its release in 2016. The composer-turned-actor, who has made his directorial debut with Pichaikkaran 2, has been garnering appreciation from netizens for his unexpected gesture.

He served delicious food to a few homeless people in Rajahmundry. They were served a sumptuous meal in a hotel and a video of the same was posted from his social media page. His noble act has won unanimous positive opinion from film buffs and others. What left many impressed is that he himself served food to them and spent some time interacting with them.

At the press meet of the movie held in Hyderabad a couple of days before the movie's release, Vijay said that Tollywood star Mahesh Babu, Kollywood stars Ajith and Vijay would have been apt to play the role he has essayed in the film.  

He himself has composed music and edited the project which revolves around a complex brain transplantation. The brain of a homeless beggar is infused into a multi-billionaire's body by a few criminal-minded businessmen for their selfish needs. However, their plan turns out to be a failure and they bear the brunt of their heartless act.

Kavya Thapar, Hareesh Peradi, John Vijay, Radha Ravi, Mansoor Ali Khan and Dev GiIl essay important characters in the movie. Disney+ Hotstar had bagged its digital rights a while ago. The film's OTT premiere is expected to happen in the second week of June.
