Vijay Antony's long-delayed action flick Tamizharasan to finally hit the screens on THIS date

The release of Vijay Antony-starrer Tamizharasan was postponed a few times in the past owing to reasons best known to the makers. Babu Yogeswaran has directed the movie which was completed a few years ago. Billed as an action thriller, it has Ramya Nambeesan playing the female lead.

Ilaiyaraaja has composed music for the project which brings back actors Suresh Gopi and Sonu Sood to Tamil industry after a long time. The former essays the role of a doctor in the film while the latter plays the antagonist in it.

The team had announced last year that Tamizharasan will hit the screens in December 2021. However, there weren't any updates pertaining to the same later. The latest official news is that the movie is gearing up for a theatrical release on November 18. Movie buffs are eager to know if there would be any further change in plans.

RD Rajasekhar has cranked the camera for the project which has action choreography by Anl Arasu. Vijay Antony will be seen essaying the role of an investigative officer. Sangeetha Krish, Chaya Singh, Robo Shankar, Yogi Babu and Munishkanth are a few others who play notable roles in the movie.

Vijay Antony was last seen in Kodiyil Oruvan which was released a year ago. The movie was one of the first hit Tamil films which drew audiences to theatres after the second lockdown. The actor-musician-filmmaker has Ratham and Kolai getting ready for release.

This is apart from a few other projects he has in his kitty. With more than half-a-dozen movies in hand, he has also made his directorial debut with Pichaikkaran 2 which is set for a release in 2023.
