Gandhi Talks is an upcoming silent film, which stars Vijay Sethupathi along with actors Arvind Swami, Aditi Rao Hydari, Siddharth Jadhav and others. The film is directed by Kishor Pandurang Belekar, and will release on January 30. Gandhi Talks is about a suave businessman who loses his family to tragic death and takes a decision, only to be marred by a pickpocket and unemployed lover.
Arasan
Arasan is a Tamil upcoming gangster action drama which is directed by Vetrimaaran. Vijay Sethupathi will be playing one of the prominent characters in the film, which will have Silambarasan play the lead role. Arasan is set in the world of Vada Chennai. However, Vetrimaaran is yet to confirm how the two films will be connected. With music by Anirudh Ravichander, Arasan release date is yet to be announced.

Train
Train is a Tamil film that has been in the making for over two years. Starring Vijay Sethupathi, Nasser, Shruti Haasan, Yugi Sethu, Narain, KS Ravikumar, Sampath Raj, Kalaiyarasan, Ira Dayanand, Preethy Karan, and others, the film is helmed by Mysskin, who has also written the story and scored the music. With an official release date yet to be announced by the makers, Train is billed to be a mystery drama.
Slumdog – 33 Temple Road
Vijay Sethupathi will be teaming up with Telugu director Puri Jagannadh for Slumdog – 33 Temple Road. A multi-language release in the pipeline, Slumdog – 33 Temple Road is expected to be an actioner with money playing a prominent element. Actors Tabu, Samyuktha Menon and others are also part of the cast. A release date in 2026 is yet to be announced.
Kaattaan
Kaattaan is an upcoming Tamil web series which is starred and produced by Vijay Sethupathi. He will be collaborating with Kadaisi Vivasayi director Manikandan for the series. Touted to be a rural actioner, the series will be coming to JioHotstar and also OTTplay Premium soon, sometime in 2026. It is a story of a man who becomes a 'legend, monster and miracle' as per the makers.
Jailer 2
Jailer 2, the upcoming sequel featuring Rajinikanth in the lead role, will have numerous cameos, with Vijay Sethupathi also appearing for a brief time. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer 2 will mark second collaboration of Rajinikanth and Vijay Sethupathi after Petta.
