Actor Vijayaraghavan talked about his upcoming web series Perilloor Premier League on Disney+ Hotstar in an interview with Movie Man Broadcasting. It is a straightforward story, he said, with a separate subplot for every character.

The actor continued by stating that the web series has oddball characters and humour that arises from the circumstances. "The Perilloor Premier League does not employ forced comedy,” he added. Vijayaraghavan stated that these characters' naivety is what gives them their sense of humour.

The director and his team deserve all the credit for their hard work and dedication, he said, adding that the project was completed in 65 days. “Because the artists were so committed to their characters, there weren't many retakes,” he said.

Regarding his roles in each movie, Vijayaraghavan referred to himself as fortunate to have been able to work in the industry for such a long time. He acknowledged that the foundation of his acting career was his theatrical training. “I try to give my best to all the characters given to me. Other than films, I do not have any other priorities in life,” he added.

The series will be streaming on the OTT platform starting January 5. A video titled World of Perilloor, was released by the makers on December 23, featuring an overview of every character in Perilloor Premier League. On January 5, the web series will be accessible in the following languages- Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, and Bengali.

The video suggests some of the traits of the hysterical characters in this web series and gives viewers a sense of who they are. The trailer for Perilloor Premier League, which was released earlier this month, makes references to a comedy riot and lively mayhem in a village during a panchayat election. Nikhila Vimal, Aju Varghese, Ashokan, Sunny Wayne, and Vijayaraghavan are among the stellar cast of the web series, directed by Praveen Chandran. The web series is written by Deepu Pradeep.
