Vikram Chatterjee denies the rumour of his return on TV

He is Ichche Nodee’s Anurag to some of his fans and Phagun Bou's Ayandeep to others. Vikram Chatterjee remains their favorite character even after he left television. It is rumored that he is coming back to the small screen. The actor replied to this over the phone. 

Vikram was last seen in Leena Gangopadhyay's serial Phagun Bou. Then he, along with Ankush, anchored Dance Bangla Dance. It is heard that Vikram is making his comeback with Leena's new serial. Is it true? Vikram said that it was baseless news and he is currently busy with films.

Vikram also said that when an actor shoots for films, he can't have time for serials. He will be seen in the film Pariah, directed by Tathagata Mukherjee. Arindam Bhattacharya's Durgapur Junction and Siladitya Moulik's Ke Prothom Kache Esechi are in the queue. Meanwhile, his last release, Shohorer Ushnotomo Dine, with his Ichche Nodee’s co-star Solanki Roy, was a big hit. Directed by Aritra Sen, the film was liked by the younger audience.

Vikram paired up with Madhumita Sarkar in the film Ke Prothom Kache Esechi. There is also the film Amarsangi, directed by Dibya Sarkar, where he paired up with Sohini Sarkar.
