Vikram Prabhu's next has been titled Tiger; joins hands with Sri Divya for the second time

Actor Vikram Prabhu, who was last seen in Pulikkuthi Pandi (streaming on Sun NXT), has signed his next project. Titled Tiger, the movie went on floors in Chennai with an official ceremony. The team also posted a picture from the location which featured some of its crew members.

Sri Divya, who was paired opposite Vikram in Ezhil's Vellakara Durai (streaming on Zee5), has been roped in as the project's female lead. Karthik will be helming the movie which has screenplay and dialogues by Muthaiya, who directed Pulikkuthi Pandi. The latter has Karthi-starrer Viruman in his kitty, which is expected to stream on Disney+ Hotstar after its theatrical release. 

Daniel Annie Pope will be seen essaying a crucial role in the film which will have music by Sam CS. Director Desingh Periyasamy of Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal (streaming on Netflix) fame revealed the news from his social media handle and wished the team success. A Rajdeep's Asuraguru (streaming on Netflix) was Vikram Prabhu's last theatrical release.

Tamizh's Taanakkaran is expected to be the actor's next release. The movie, which revolves around the life of a police trainee, is likely to have a direct-to-OTT release on Disney+ Hotstar. 

Mani Ratnam's magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan and Karthik Chowdhary's Paayum Oli Nee Yenakku are his other upcoming projects that are expected to hit the screens later this year.

Sri Divya was last seen in Ike's horror-comedy Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thorae (streaming on Disney+ Hotstar). She has Barnesh's long-pending movie Othaikku Othai, which has Atharvaa playing the lead ready for release. She is currently busy with her Mollywood debut, Jana Gana Mana, which has Prithviraj and Suraj Venjaramoodu, playing lead roles in it.
