Viraatapalem – P.C. Meena Reporting on OTT: A shocking marriage plot to be the biggest twist of the series

Viraatapalem – P.C. Meena Reporting is Zee5's new series that is all set to stream on June 27, 2025. Not many knew such a web series was made in the first place, as the cast is also relatively new. But ever since Zee5 released the trailer, it has become a talking point.

The series has seven episodes in total and is about a female cop who gets posted in a village where brides are mysteriously killed on their wedding night. How the lady cop decides to get married to investigate the case is the basic theme of the show. 

Poluru Krishna has directed the series, which is high on thrills and twists. One of the sources close to the unit has revealed to us that the major twist related to the killings on the weedding night of the heroine is going to be shocking and will impress one and all. 

The source goes on to add that director Poluru Krishna has executed the flashback and the truth behind the murders in a gripping manner. Abhignya Vuthaluru plays the female lead in this series, and this is a big project for her to make a mark in the industry. She has done YouTube and a few shows in the past, but Viraatapalem – P.C. Meena Reporting is a make-or-break project for her.

Poluru Krishna of Recce fame directs Viraatapalem – P.C. Meena Reporting

The gritty series has been made on a low budget, and each episode is under 30 minutes, which makes for a breezy watch. Before Viraatapalem – P.C. Meena Reporting, director Krishna made the hit series Recce, which was praised for its thrills. The director is quite confident that the unique premise in the show will be loved by everyone, and the series will become a talking point once it lands on Zee5 and OTTplay Premium. 

The series has dialogues by Divya Theja and music by Rohith Kumar. The supporting cast features mostly new faces, and K.V. Sriram is the producer. Abhignya, the female lead, is quite confident that the series will change her career for good. Let's see what happens in the days to come.
