Tamil superstar Suriya is leaving no stone unturned to get into the skin of his warrior character in his upcoming movie Kanguva. The movie, which was temporarily titled Suriya 42, is one of the most important movies in Suriya's career. And it appears that Suriya is leaving no stone unturned in his efforts to make Kanguva his best work yet, especially since it's the most expensive movie he has ever been a part of.

Producer Rajsekar Pandian, Suriya's close confident, tweeted the picture of the star working out at a gym. Suriya could be seen working his arms flaunting his toned arms. "Transformation in progress.. #Kanguva," tweeted Rajsekar.

Earlier, another picture from the sets of the movie had revealed Suriya's shredded physique. The producers had also tweeted a workout video, giving fitness inspiration to millions of his fans.

Suriya has been a fitness icon for more than a decade. In 2008, he took his fitness to an elite level by gaining six-pack abs for his role in Vaaranam Aayiram, inspiring many to pursue fitness. Since then, he has continued to raise the bar for his fitness game, setting new standards for himself and his fans.

And it seems the 47-year-old star has taken his fitness to another level with Kanguva. The movie has already caught the imagination of the audience soon after filmmakers unveiled the movie's motion poster. And it's one of the most-awaited movies across India.

Written and directed by Siva, the production of Kanguva is going on in full swing. The filmmakers have announced the movie will release in cinemas in early 2024.
