A while ago, actor Vishal was injured during the filming of an intense action sequence for A Vinoth Kumar's Laththi. He had undergone an ayurvedic treatment in Kerala for the same after the shooting got stalled temporarily. A couple of days ago, the actor had announced that he is ready to join the final shooting schedule of the film.

On Tuesday, he joined the team and expressed happiness over the same on his Twitter page, along with a video shot from the location. He tweeted, "Elated to be back on the sets for the final schedule of #Laththi as we are canning the high octane climax sequence with @peterheinoffl master in Hyderabad.GB (sic)."

The 20-second video has Vishal, who is seen clad in a police uniform, interacting with action choreographer Peter Hein and other crew members. He has bruises on his face as part of the action scene for the movie, in which he plays a constable for the first time. Sunainaa plays the female lead in the project.

Interestingly, the actor had suffered injury while shooting for an action scene for his previous outing, Veeramae Vaagai Soodum (streaming on Zee5), as well.

Laththi, which is Vishal's 32nd movie as an actor, has music composed by Sam CS. Its title teaser was unveiled a few months ago by Vishal Film Factory, the star's production house. The movie, which will be released in Tamil and Telugu, has cinematography by Balasubramanian and editing by NB Srikanth.

Actors Ramana and Nandaa are bankrolling the movie under Rana Productions for which Dhilip Subbarayan was supposed to helm stunt choreography. However, Peter replaced him as the former was busy with other commitments. Laththi is expected to hit the screens later this year.
