The trailer of Japan was unveiled yesterday at the audio launch of the film. Many celebs attended the event which turned out to be a grand affair. Suriya, Vishal, Lokesh Kanagaraj and Siva among others were a few prominent celebs from Kollywood who graced the event.
The movie directed by Raju Murugan is slated for a Diwali release. However, the team is yet to announce its exact release date. The film is Karthi's second outing in 2023 and 25th project as an actor. Several celebs wished success to the actor and heaped praise on his journey.
Vishal extends special wishes to Karthi
Vishal, who has always shared a good rapport with Karthi, took to Twitter to extend wishes to his friend on achieving the milestone. The Mark Antony star said that he enjoyed the trailer of Japan and added, "you are dear brother as you always inspire me as a human mostly importantly also as an actor (sic)."
Vishal also mentioned director Raju Murugan, music composer GV Prakash, producer SR Prabhu and heroine Anu Emmanuel in his tweet, apart from expressing eagerness to watch the movie.
Karthi has two sequels ready in his kitty
The actor has begun shooting for his project with Nalan Kumarasamy recently. The untitled film is expected to be released in 2024. His most-awaited film, Kaithi 2, is likely to go on floors after Lokesh completes his movie with Rajinikanth.
He also has Sardar 2 with PS Mithran. The makers hinted at its beginning recently with an announcement that did not divulge much into the details.
