Debutante filmmaker Thu Pa Saravanan's Veeramae Vaagai Soodum had a theatrical release on February 4. The action film, which was released simultaneously as Saamanyudu in Telugu and Obba in Kannada as well, opened to mixed reviews from critics and the audience.
The Vishal-starrer started streaming on Zee5 from March 4, exactly a month after its theatrical release. The digital platform has now released a video in which the actor, who has also produced the movie under Vishal Film Factory, opened up about his association with the OTT platform.
He said that he has always had a good relationship with Zee network and expressed happiness for joining hands with them again. Vishal said, "Veeramae Vaagai Soodum has been one of my favourite films in my career. I'm glad that it is now streaming on Zee5, along with its Telugu and Kannada versions."
He also mentioned the streaming of Irumbu Thirai, his last successful movie, on the platform. "It's interesting that time and again we have a good association with each other. I'm really looking forward to a long association with Zee Network. They have been coming up with amazing content," he added.
Vishal also said that he has been striving to outdo his previous films in terms of quality. "I have always been particular about improving the quality of my last made movies so as to give an interesting experience to viewers. I'm sure even the OTT platforms are keen on choosing high quality films," he said.
Veeramae Vaagai Soodum has Dimple Hayathi, Baburaj, Thulasi, Elango Kumaravel, Raveena Ravi, Marimuthu and Yogi Babu among others essaying significant roles in it. Its story revolves around an aspiring cop, who sets out to take revenge against a few criminals, after they killed one of his family members.
